Learn more... 01/06/12 Physical Bullying Down, Cyberbullying Rising Arlington, VA (Vocus) March 5, 2010 The National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) applauded the news that physical bullyingamong children has declined steadily since 2003 but stated the growing cyberbullying problem among kids should concern us all. In a study funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, the percentage of children who reported being bullied physically over the past year has declined by seven percent from 2003 to 2008. NCPC believes those numbers are encouraging but says cyberbullying has eclipsed physical bullying. "The decline in physical bullying is an exciting revelation and speaks to the tremendous work of school administrators, teachers, and students but we are worried about the pervasive growth of cyberbullying among our young people,” said Michelle Boykins, Director of Communications. Physical Bullying Down, Cyberbullying Rising

Arlington, VA (Vocus) March 5, 2010

The National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) applauded the news that physical bullying cyberbully and victim among children has declined steadily since 2003 but stated the growing cyberbullying problem among kids should concern us all.
